I always say that you visualize data in such a way that it complements your analysis.
Let’s discuss a situation where you may not visualize data fairly.
Consider that you created a line chart showing total spend and average rating using a combined axes chart.
Now, the issue with this is, you will see a line for average rating close to the bottom of the x-axis.
This is because BI tools like Tableau is going to scale visually according to total spend.
In such a situation, a measure that is an average rating is not visualized fairly.
To handle this, you need to create a double-axis line chart.
