The most important aspect of Data Analysis is to solve business problems.

It is not SQL, Python, or any other tool.

It is entirely about building insights and communicating them efficiently so that stakeholders can make informed business decisions.

You need to tie the business problem to a business KPI!

Question: Why is marketing not bringing significant results?

Seems vague, as we don’t have information such as what part of marketing is not working, but let’s try to translate it to KPIs.

The KPIs that we can focus on include:

  โ€ข LTV : CAC
  โ€ข ARPU
  โ€ข Average Customer Lifetime
  โ€ข Payback Period, and more.

Move one step beyond. Compare these KPIs among marketing channel specifics, objective, targeting type, regions, etc, with the overall.

This will point out the lagging combinations, and then the marketing team can align their budget and targeting efforts based on that.
